[Sonic](https://www.soniclabs.com/) is an EVM Layer 1 blockchain platform that offers a unique fee mechanism in the form of incentives for developers, as well as modern infrastructure.

We have decided to build on Sonic for several reasons. \
\
First of all, it's a very fast blockchain with low fees, which will be beneficial for users coming to Sonic and doing swaps via SwapX. \
\
Moreover, EVM compatibility allows us to use existing tools and our gained experience in the EVM field to build the application on a much faster blockchain than Ethereum itself.

We are particularly excited about the completely new mechanism that Sonic has — Fee Monetization.
