We have decided to build on Sonic for several reasons. First of all, it's a very fast blockchain with low fees, which will be beneficial for users coming to Sonic and doing swaps via SwapX. Moreover, EVM compatibility allows us to use existing tools and our gained experience in the EVM field to build the application on a much faster blockchain than Ethereum itself.
We are particularly excited about the completely new mechanism that Sonic has — Fee Monetization.
